Gmail app force closes when using Gingerbread keyboard to copy and paste #21

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Copy text from any email using the Gingerbread keyboard
2. As you start selecting text...the gmail app force closes
3. Problem doesn't appear when using the Swype keyboard

Just an update...this occurs in apps in general were you are selecting text to 
copy and paste not just in the gmail app.

occurs in apps in general were you are selecting text to copy and paste not 
just in the gmail app.

This was pasted from gmail app using wp7 keyboard.  It has replaced the 
gingerbread keyboard.  Gingerbreaf was accidentally included in the first two 
days of release.  Gingerbread was not intended for this ROM. It made its way in 
accidentally in some last minute file operations.

The gingerbread keyboard was removed because it caused problems with other 
keyboard apps, namely "Better Keyboard 8".   The framework was not in place for 
the keyboard so it crashed.  The keyboard was removed in the SVN in days prior 
to release, however it was accidentally uploaded again to the SVN prior to 
release.  The issue was corrected 1 day after initial release.  Re download and 
apply the update. As an alternative, you can use the Andromeda3 heimdall 
package to avoid a full wipe.  The Andromeda3 Heimdall package is available 
here http://files.teamkomin.com/Andromeda/Tools/Andromeda3-HeimdallPackage.zip

With the Heimdall package... do I just flash using clockwork mod?

No, you put the phone into download mode and use the app heimdall.  I'll be 
posting a video soon enough, but I'm running into issues with Mac OSX.   I 
could not get it to work.   When the video is up, it will be on my youtube page
