Needs better revision descriptions #168

At the moment it is very difficult to tell what has been changing in the
project. This can be fixed by improving the revision descriptions.

Can you point me to a project in which the revision descriptions are more
accurate? Some sort of comparison would help me understand what you would like.

I'm not a developer , but I would say any description is better than nothing.
Especially useful would be descriptions for version releases, so that I can
tell which revision to build from.

Ooooohhh, you want descriptions on the code commits, not on the Google Play
store release notes (which is what I thought you were asking for), lol. I see
what you are asking for now. Unfortunately, this project isn't really meant to
be a project in which a lot of developers are working together and need to know
what's going on with each saved commit. If this was my full time job I may
take the time to do this, but this is something I do for fun in my spare time.
This project is open source solely to share the code. I realize this is not
ideal and that it's probably frowned upon in the open source developer
community, but I am only 1 man with very limited time in the day. On that note,
for the past 6 months I have been keeping the commits to match up with the app
releases, so you should be able to match the code commits to the release notes
located here:

http://code.google.com/p/droid-notify/wiki/ReleaseNotes

I am sorry that this isn't the answer you were looking for, but I hope that I
did explain myself in a way that you understand.
