Clearing stock messaging app unread count on Galaxy s3 (verizon) #172

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Recieve SMS message, Droid Notify popup displays. Galaxy S3 (Verizon) 
Messaging app shows unread count overlay.
2. Dismiss the SMS popup with Droid Notify button

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect the unread count overlay on the stock messaging app to clear, 
but it does not.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using Notify Lite 3.26 with Android 4.1.1 on verizon.

Please provide any additional information below.
