If you had ask before compiling, I would have given you about a 50% shot at this driver compiling on that setup. So, this is great because it actually compiled.
Of the drivers I attempt to maintain here, this one is the problem child. It is old and fragile. I keep hoping that Realtek will let a new version slip out. I see you used the settings for raspi64. That is what I would have done also but I'm not sure what would be best to tell you the truth. You are more or less out in uncharted waters.
My advice is to check results to see if things are working and if things appears to be working, shut logging down and pretend everything is fine. I run Kali but it is the amd64 version. I use two RasPi's but I use the RasPiOS... so I have no experience with Kali on a Pi...yet. If it breaks, it could take some time to figure out what the problem.

there's a bunch of warnings in the syslog while kismet is running. it still receives devices and everything seems to work ok. the warnings are coming in at around one per second and they slowly blow up the logfile.
platform: raspi4 8GB hardware: alfa AWUS1900 Linux kali 5.4.83-Re4son-v8l+ aarch64
driver built from git revision: 32b6c9eb0e28ba16d9a44c327f320ee4a3302234 built according to instructions (raspi64.sh and install-driver.sh)
iwconfig
Can these warnings be ignored? If yes, can they be suppressed somehow?
Here's a sample of the warnings
