Thanks for the report. Please try this
Thank you for getting back! Here we go. NOTE: It seems to get truncated once I post it, ie. 90% of the output is removed from the middle. Any other way to share it, like email? NOTE 2: I've removed some personal data from the terminal output below. Let me know if I've removed too much. NOTE 3: Not much later I've got another error: AndroidTool quit unexpectedly. I have a long error log for that too, I can send it if you wish.

Ah okay, which phone model and Android version do you have?
I have Samsung Galaxy Core Plus (SM-G350), version 4.2.2.

Ah, ok. Video recording requires Android 4.4 KitKat.
I have El Captain and my android device is SM-G350 (4.2.2). I've just downloaded it for the first time but video recording doesn't happen. Tried both 1.51 and 1.56 directly downloaded the zip and just launched the unpacked tool. Even tried reinstalling from terminal with Homebrew, it's all the same. My device is detected when I connect it, Screen shot works fine when I click on it, but video recording doesn't. The video recording button shown in the tutorials is there but nothing happens when I click.
