Bug: When user joins room after being in another room, /check does not work. #39

Need to either check every once in awhile if they joined our room, or find an event that pushes that info. Otherwise user must refresh every time they join our room.

This can be reopened, since the issue is still occurring.

Due to all the data issues we had/have it's hard to keep track.
