This looks like a perfect vehicle / companion / mothership for https://github.com/julik/vitrine

Maybe we can merge the two?

That's a neat project. One of the first people with whom I discussed this idea suggested I make it a Rack app so it could be used as middleware. I am still not quite sure where I am going with this project so I don't think I am ready to combine forces right now, but I very much appreciate the interest.
