Feature Request: Save a list of compare created with some records

I am looking for a plugin for compare that allow me to save the compare states, allowing mark what files already compared. When the hash from one of the file changes, then the file highlights to show that exist new differences for a file that was previously marked has compared.

This plugin was one of the must useful that I have found and would be worderful to see a feature like this added to it in future releases.

Hi @jjmmbb Interesting feature; thanks for suggesting it. I need to think about how to implement it. If it's not a quick win, it will probably take me some time to get into it because of... life. If you know how to implement it, feel free to open a PR :)
