Robotium hanging when switching from webview to native #547

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install a Hybrid application which uses phonegap (Cordova view).
2. The application opens up a pop up which is a native view like button,Textview
3.During playback , when the pop up is generated (not visible though), robotium 
hangs.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Robotium shouldn't hang and the pop up should be clicked.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Robotium 4.0 on Windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.

Please try with Robotium 4.3.

Hi renas,

I have tried with robotium 4.3. The problem exists. Are there any known issues 
when a webview opens up a native pop up. Looks to like the robotium is stuck on 
the webview and preventing the native pop up (make of TextView and Button)to 
even show up.

Is it a thread related issue , since the pop up blocks the webview.

Would it be possible for you to share an app that exhibits this issue? You send

Hi Renas , 

I will not be possible for me to send the application. But i think the problem 
can be demonstrated where a webview is opening up a Native pop up (having a 
textview and button).
If you don't have app , I will create a small app myself and try to send it to 
you. I haven't created a webview app before .. so it might take some time.
