Make a UNIX swap usage graph.  Specifically, show swap activity -- pages
swapped in and out, as in the si/so columns from vmstat.

See /proc/stat "page" or "swap" line.

In kernels 2.6 and later those moved to /proc/vmstat.

I'm not sure if this is the answer but it does create a basic swap graph.
