PCRE segfaults #1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Using preg_match or any pcre function
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Not a segfault..

I want this to be solved but it needs serious debugging. 

By now, you can use a dirty workaround: "ereg" extension.

I think that the latest the php binary doesn't segfaults any more. However, It 
needs more testing before closing the issue.
