The "Download XML file" should have a default name as
activedocumentname.xml
In the attached screenshot, it shows: 20478-F1-09UN_001a.ome.xml
The active document name was something like test2023-05-31
Note that when a file is submitted, via the "Submit Metadata" button, a folder is created in the user's uploads directory with the name of the active document and copies the image and xml file into that folder. It is ONLY in this folder that the XML file is changed to match the filename of the image, which is required by the curation software.
