Nested set helper improved validation and clean up #431

What does this do?

Adds the NestedSetException class for better validation on the nested set helper
Amends some silly mistakes like undefined variables, bad calls etc.
Deletes unreachable code from and deprecates useless toArray() method on nested set helper
How should this be manually tested?
