Could navigation controls slide to new position instead of jump? #79

User testing is showing confusion about the continuity of the horizontal set when the navigation controls jump to a new position in the set.

I was asked if the transition could slide/scroll/animate instead of "teleport" to the new set position?

We are having problems with this as an animation would load all the autoload content in between which is a lot of stuff on some of our sets. Let's keep this open and put it into the future as i don't see a solution at hand that does not mean we have to redo our sets.

I see the problem.

You'd have to either be able to turn off autoloading while scrolling, then turn it back on when you got there… …or maybe display an image of the set while scrolling then switch back to the real view when you arrive.
