MotionEyeOS and power consumption with Zero or 3A+/B+ models #2180

Hello everyone,

Did anyone made some measurements what is power consumption of various Pi models running MotionEyeOS?

I am thinking setting up monitoring station at a remote location in an open field which won't have AC power so I have to rely on solar panels --> power bank -->Pi with motioneyeos on it.

Pi will be used for motional detection from locally attached camera and will write detected mp4 clips on local SD card, it won't have any network connectivity.

I need to estimate what type of solar panel and power bank I will need for above setup.

Did you get a chance to measure this yourself? I have the same application and am also concerned about power usage. I suspect it's a lot as, "motion" is continuously examining video.
