But using a google service as the hosting provider for an IT Security Community is not the smartest thing 2022.
Why?
Because you are giving them valuable data that easily can be tied back to your real identity, including your place of residence, etc. And there is no way back When the day comes and it gets abused (history proves it). If it gets abused or falls into criminal hands. - You would have to move to gain Some privacy & security back.
IT Security 2022+ also includes defending your privacy (data) from Big Tech.
So, using Big Tech services for talks about how to defend yourself against both classical
Criminals, Governments, and Big Techon aBig Tech platformis epic fail.Barely anybody knows about the "Big Tech" threat, so you are excused. But now you know.
Why did I throw defending against "Governments" in there? - Because historically when society breaks down like it always does sooner or later. On a National level, Empire level, or International level. - Government wont nessicarily be your friend and historically do stuff like steal your gold or other valueables...You ever herd about corrupt cops & govs stealing from the people? It's real, even more so when disaster hits.
So, be smart, be prepared for future threats, and not just those mass media serves you on a silver plate. The worst enemy is always the one you never prepared for, the one backstabbing you at the worst moment.
