i know the Google Music app isn't supported on rooted phone, i have read some 
threads where some people have it working. i've installed ver.3 of the google 
app and i get "The application Music (process.com.google.android.music) has 
stopped unexectedly". 

perhaps it could be included into a nightly build etc.

I had no issues with google music on nightly 711.  I have just installed it on 
714, restarted phone to get prompt for synching account and I'm up and running. 
 I don't know what issues you are having, but the app works with at least one 
rooted device.
