I received a c1-2741-4 error when I tried to install my game that I dumped (Exist Archive). When the dump process was over the file was 2.8GB. The Vita gave me a warning when I exited out of psvgamesd that I had only 40 MB of space left. I deleted the dumped file and some other files on the memory card, freeing up an extra 300 MB of space. I tried dumping Exist Archive again and this time I happened to notice that it seemed to finish early - meaning that the progress seemed to jump from 4- something to the final 7-something. (I'm unsure of the units being shown and the characters are hexadecimal). Anyway, after exiting psvgamesd again, VitaShell told me my file size was 3.1 GB this time around (indicating I was able to squeeze another 300 MB onto the memory card), my first clue that maybe Exist Archive is just bigger than I have available space on my 4GB Sony Memory Card.
If this is all true, I think a great feature for psvgamesd would be a disk space notification before starting the dump process (which is long) or at the least some indication that the dump exited early because of disk space. I ordered a larger Sony Memory Card and I will try again - but I assume this is the source of my problem right now.
Yes, that was the issue. Exist Archive is 3.7 GB. I was able to dump it and play it now. However, now I can't figure out how to import my save files...
