Empty fragment encoding
Dereference DEFAULT to get the actual value
Don't write length bits for small fixed-sized sequence-of
Index encoding in choice extensions
Only align when range == 256

I've been using the asn1c APER encoder for an internal project. I'm sorry to just push it like this but I do not have the time to fix it properly :/ Most of the fixes probably needs more work or are incomplete. And since I've only used the encoder the decoder probably has the same issues.

Understood. I hope you'll find time eventually - but if not, we'll figure out something (again, hopefully ;).
