This is a half-formed idea, but...I was thinking about what the lowest key version of a training would be and I think it's something like "people talking excitedly for a few minutes or so about a cool new thing they built/used/heard of". Sort of the equivalent of the knowledge you'd get by chatting with someone at a water cooler or leaning over to see something cool on their computer. It would be neat to have a demo day that's very low key, no pressure to prepare anything, literally just tell us about something technical that excites you.
