Does not get TV series #1

It works great on movies, but for TV series when I define media_type as "series" and define season and episode, it returns None.

Known issue, not implemented this yet. It will also fail to get certain TMDBs that exist on flixhq due to reliance on DMDB, will switch to the TMDB API soon.
