[x] follow up clarification sent (asking if bc contracts with PCSO, info will lie with them)
[ ] Data received (installment #/final)
[ ] Data uploaded
[ ] Harmonized file created
[ ] Report updated

@shiraidris007 we will need to follow up on this. Are they saying they have had no pursuits during this time period? Or that they do not keep records of pursuits? Or just that the way we worded our request they have no responsive records?

@hejokelly we will need your help with this

We understand that UP contracts with the PCSO for police services. Does this mean that any records of pursuits in the UP jurisdiction will be the responsibility of the PCSO to maintain? Also, just to verify, are you saying there have been no reports addressing pursuit related data provided to city council members, administrative staff or city residents?

Here is the informaiton to obtain Police records:

POLICE • South Sound 911 – Reports - South Sound 911 – Tel. 253.798.7441 • Website - https://southsound911.org/records/public-records-requests/

• Pierce County – Records (other than Reports) – Tel. 253.798.7769 • Website - https://www.piercecountywa.org/5554/Records-Available-Online

I can't say exactly which agency would be able to supply the exact information you need, but they will let you know.

@shiraidris007 the response is not quite responsive to our request for clarification. But it does suggest we should f/u with both SS911 and Pierce Co for the records we're requesting
