@moxboxwa these records are kept with KCSO, which has jurisdiction over Carnation along with #72 Kenmore, Covington, SeaTac, Shoreline, and Skykomish. Should I open a new issue for KCSO? We have data from them, but the scope of the request was more limited: "Under the Washington Public Records Act, §42.56 et seq., I am requesting the following records: Monthly counts of vehicle pursuits involving the King County County Sheriff's Office from 1/1/19 through 11/30/23." We did not ask for policies or summaries.

@hejokelly this raises some questions, but yes, we should ask KCSO for their policies, as they've changed over the years including just this year, and their internal reports/summaries.

@hejokelly Note: ask KCSO for both data from Carnation pursuits and any summary reports on Carnation pursuits
