@moxboxwa they asked if we want the incident files or a spreadsheet, and I replied that we need a spreadsheet with all available data. They will prep an invoice and then release the files. They also only provided current policies so I reiterated that we need prior versions.
@moxboxwa a preliminary vehicle pursuit list was sent based on the agency's search for "vehicle pursuit" in report narratives. I've asked for additional information about how the search was performed to have a better understanding of what incidents are included in the list.
@moxboxwa prior versions of policies have been received and uploaded.
@moxboxwa the records rep wasn't able to get any additional info about how the search was performed because the data came from Redmond PD's database (they share one). I asked for a spreadsheet of incidents so we could determine if we wanted any of the actual incident reports. They provided a list of incidents without a lot of data. I've been waiting on a more detailed spreadsheet, so I've emailed asking if that's in the works.
@moxboxwa they wrote back and said that the vehicle pursuit list they provided on 7/24 was in response to my request for a spreadsheet. So if we want more data or more info about how the search was run, it seems like we need to request it directly from the Redmond PD's folks. Or we can have Duvall just pull the reports. It looks like there were 5 pursuits in 2019, 9 in 2020, 5 in 2021, 4 in 2022, 6 in 2023 and 5 in 2024. Lmk how to proceed.
@hejokelly per 10/9/24 discussion: Request that they pull reports.
original data: rms extract, pdf, 4 vars, but still waiting for summary reports data can be analyzed before the summary reports come in
