@moxboxwa they provided the incident reports from the pursuits, but not all of them so I've followed up to request the files that are missing.

@moxboxwa I typed "incident reports," but I meant "annual reports." It looks like they overwrote the 2021 annual report data with 2022 data. I'll see if we can just get the data itself for each year.

@moxboxwa we now have the corrected 2021 annual report.

Another issue - this is the agency that listed "attempted eluding" stats in their annual reports, but not vehicle pursuits. I asked what the difference was and if they tracked veh. pursuits and they wrote," As to the eluding (vehicle pursuits), that is the way our agency codes them. In our data system, there is no code for "vehicle pursuits" they are all coded felony elude."

I also noticed a discrepancy between the number of elude/pursuits listed in the 2023 annual report (3) v. the data (9). I'm curious if the annual report statistic reflects actual pursuits, so I've asked for the incident reports. Once we have them, I'll also point out the discrepancy and see what explanation they offer.
