No update notifications for add-ons if Convergence is enabled #140

Am I the only one who's not getting any update notifications for the installed FF add-ons ? Even manually instructing FF in about:addons to search for updates doesn't give any results. Only disabling Convergence and restarting Firefox (v. 10 on Kubuntu 11.10) solves this problem.

Am I really the only one with this issue???

I can confirm this on Firefox 12, although I don't have to restart FF to reproduce this issue. If I'm not mistaken FF checks the issuer of the certificate when it updates addons and might have a issue with it being Convergence instead of Verisign.

Thanks for confirming this issue. I wonder, though, if it will be fixed as it seems that Convergence development has stopped considering that there have not been any posts by moxie since early January. Very sad :-(
