Problem getting Convergence add-on working in FF6/7 #84

Hi,

I've tried the Convergence addon in Firefox 7.0 (Ubuntu amd64) and Firefox 6.0.2 (OSX 10.7), without success. It doesn't work with my regular profile.

If I create a new profile and install Convergence, it works great - so there is an issue with something in my profile.

I've tried disabling all extensions/plugins except Convergence in FF7, but it didn't help. I don't got that much experience debugging FF extensions, so if anyone has any tips to what could help me find this issue, that would be great.

It doesn't matter that much to me, because I can always create a new profile, but I'm guessing the average guy won't bother doing that if the plugin doesn't work, so I'd like to find out what's blocking it.

After some more checking this is the same issue as #22 and will be fixed with pull #64

I've added a Wiki page for 'known problems' with this on until this is resolved.
