I want to evolve jsmime independent from thunderbird, #16

Is that acceptable? And distribute it with browserfy

Yes, it is a goal to be able to use JSMime outside of Thunderbird. However, it is still necessary for me to be able to port changes to and from comm-central, and so any change that makes that task much more difficult (such as most of your recent pull request) is just simply not acceptable.
