Why/User Benefit/User Problem

As a Lockwise user, i want to be able to add secure notes on Lockwise, this would be separate of the entries(that are synced with the Firefox account).

Acceptance Criteria (how do I know when I’m done?)

The newly Notes(Secured) section is added in the Lockwise settings. Under the Notes(secured) section the user will be able to add:

Adding a menu like this will let the user to explore and store many other things that maybe are not related to the Firefox account.

For notes, shouldn't that be another app.

However, I do think that Lockwise should have credit-card support.

Hi @pwd-github thanks for the message! No, it shouldn't be another app. My feature request is exactly about what are you saying. First we will have a section with Notes(secured) where we will can add only notes, after that there will be an opportunity to implement more options for the users, like credit-card, driver license and many others.

I'll defer to more learned people, like yourself. There's clearly a use for secure notes, hence why BitWarden also have the feature.

This feature should not be interpreted as just having "multiple passwords".

Assume you enable Two Factor Authentication for GitHub and set up an Authenticator app on your device. Now at the end, GitHub will also provide a list of recovery codes like this:

xxxxx-xxxxx
xxxxx-xxxxx
xxxxx-xxxxx
xxxxx-xxxxx
xxxxx-xxxxx
xxxxx-xxxxx
xxxxx-xxxxx
xxxxx-xxxxx
xxxxx-xxxxx
xxxxx-xxxxx
xxxxx-xxxxx
xxxxx-xxxxx
xxxxx-xxxxx
xxxxx-xxxxx
xxxxx-xxxxx
xxxxx-xxxxx
xxxxx-xxxxx

Does one need to enter ALL of them as unique passwords? (Which they are not; "passwords").

So it would be nice to have (simplest scenario) a generic "Secure Notes" field in addition to the password field and that's all (for this single feature at lease).

This feature is also being discussed mozilla-lockwise/lockwise-addon#280 since there is no clear place to put feature requests that span all clients.

Unfortunately, that repo has become unmaintained and is now for the addon more than the integrated Firefox Lockwise. Is there a way to revive this issue for all platforms?
