Custom User-Agent on main branch for develop purposes #10270

Spotify music player not working in current Firefox code but working in application available in App Store

Hi @bhatttanuja, Could you provide more details on this issue? What exactly is the problem? How can we reproduce? On which device is this happening and on which version? Thanks!

Hi, Yes, the issue can be replicated with the latest code available on git of main branch. First issue Spotify website is not supported and second if the website is loading then player of Spotify is not working. It is redirecting to new page instead of playing the audio. I have tested on iPhone 6s with version 15.2 and in simulator as well.

Hi @bhatttanuja, We have different user agent strings when we run on a develop build, which can result in such behavior (website disclaimed as unavailable). Note: This task would be to have a custom UA in main, so it's more of a feature request I believe.

Yes, I agree due to user agent file it might giving us the issue but as it is giving us unsupported browser issue so is it possible to get user agent file of App Store Firefox .
