Logs

You can help us by sending us either your crash logs or Firefox logs. Instructions on how to do this here.

Steps to reproduce

Closed FireFox. Went to Apple App Store, updated firefox, after update restarted fire

Expected behavior

After update expected all tabs from the previous session would still be there.

Actual behavior

After updating Firefox all tabs from the previous session were no longer there. There was no option to restore the previous session as well.

Notes

The newest Crash log is from back in February so I did not upload it. I’ve uploaded six FireFox logs from the day after the update as well as the day of and the day before Attachments:

Correction about what logs were uploaded:

One log from the day Firefox was updated and all tabs from the previous session were missing/ deleted after restarting firefox (5/10). (Fwiw FireFox was restarted right after the update was installed.)

Four logs from the day before the update (5/9)

One log from two days before the update.(5/8)

Six logs in total.

I was not able to reproduce it updating to the latest version v116 (32694) with iPhone 13 pro (15.7.1).

Please re-open a new ticket in case you can reproduce this issue constantly.

You can’t reproduce it on a different device with a different version of the iOS updating from a different version of Firefox to another different version of Firefox therefore you close the case? Seriously!?

This is about as unscientific as you can get!

Then you tell me I need to go through the process of losing all open tabs again, aka reproduce the problem, so another case can be opened and be looked into again? And let’s not forget it wasn’t just losing all open tabs there was also no “restore previous session”.

Seems I’ve got to shoot myself in the foot again in order to prove shooting my foot causes bleeding and pain. And why must I do this!??!! Because you dropped a feather on your foot and claim you could not reproduce/ get the same result as me!

F’n ridiculous!

What a waste of time……..
