The colors of some videos are inverted when night mode is on #15286

Steps to reproduce

  1. Navigate to nba.com and run some video
  2. Turn the night mode on
  3. Check the video

Expected behavior

The video should be correctly displayed

Actual behavior

The colors of some videos are inverted

I can reproduce this bug on nba.com videos, too. Videos on YouTube and cnn.com are rendered correctly, so there is something unique about nba.com’s videos.

I can still reproduce this bug on nba.com videos. Videos on YouTube and cnn.com are rendered correctly, so there is something unique about nba.com’s videos.

Note: the website’s video player blocks playback in Firefox iOS but works if you “Request Desktop Site”. Activating night mode will the invert the video colors. The playback error is https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/firefox-ios/issues/13294.
