Tabs are not restored for secondary iPad windows #21091

  1. Launch iPad, open a website in window 1
  2. Open a 2nd window in split view, load a different website
  3. Close the 2nd window
  4. Open a 2nd window again in split view

Expected: the previous window’s tabs should be restored

Actual: the window is blank. If you tap in the location field, the homepage is shown (but it should be the 2nd website)

Note: does not repro in 128.1 app store build. I also couldn’t seem to replicate in the latest 129 (cc Andrei Bodea). Looks like hopefully it is only impacting v130 currently.

I can no longer replicate. It also sounds like it is likely the same root issue as https://mozilla-hub.atlassian.net/browse/FXIOS-9406 ( https://mozilla-hub.atlassian.net/browse/FXIOS-9406|smart-link ) .
