Vasant Kumar what do you think about this? Do you agree? Should be part of a homepage refactor?

Hi Vasant Kumar. This issue emerged when we did a heuristic evaluation of the core browsing experience. The crux of the issue is that the following best practice is violated (the design is neither aesthetic nor minimalist – it repeats information from onboarding, it is busy, and makes for an overwhelming user experience). Improving this page could improve user impression and experience.
Heuristic #8: Aesthetic and Minimalist DesignInterfaces should not contain information that is irrelevant or rarely needed. Every extra unit of information in an interface competes with the relevant units of information and diminishes their relative visibility.

The first visit to the homepage after Onboarding includes a big message about switching default browsers (a repeat of the first onboarding card), multiple sections of data, and another message drawing attention to something further down the page. It’s overwhelming.
