[Experiment] The “Open Settings” button from the set as default onboarding screen does not take the user to System Settings

[Affected versions]:

• Firefox Release 131.0 (45514).

[Affected Platforms]:

• iOS 16.2 - iPhone 12 Pro.

[Preconditions]:

• The user is enrolled in the "+iOS "Set as Default Browser" Onboarding Optimization+" experiment.

• The application is at first launch, in order to display the onboarding process.

[Steps to reproduce]:

1. Open the Firefox app.

2. At the “Make Firefox your default browser” screen from the onboarding process, tap the “Open Settings” button.

3. Observe the behavior.

[Expected result]:

• The user is taken directly to the System Settings screen.

[Actual result]:

• The “Switch Your Default Browser” modal is displayed at the bottom of the screen, with instructions on how to set the browser as default and a “Go to Settings” button.

[Notes]:

• The issue is not reproducible using Firefox Beta 9000 (45521).

Alexandru Bejenaru the on-train changes for this experiment didn’t land until the 131 dot release, so it not working on 131 is expected. The min version for this experiment is 131.1.0.
