QA Notes:

Testing from a new tab:

• Enable toolbar refactor and unified search features
• Tap the drop-down search engine icon in the toolbar
• Select a new search engine from the bottom sheet (iPhone) or popover (iPad)
• The search engine icon should update correctly in the toolbar
• Stop editing in the toolbar (e.g. select outside the keyboard to close it)
• The search engine icon should revert back to the default

Also testing from a webpage:

• Enable toolbar refactor and unified search features
• Start editing the current URL
• Tap the drop-down search engine icon in the toolbar
• Select a new search engine from the bottom sheet (iPhone) or popover (iPad)
• The search engine icon should update correctly in the toolbar
• Test 2 things:
  • Case 1
  • Tap the back arrow in the toolbar to end editing
  • This should cause the webpage to return. If you edit the URL again, the search engine icon should have reverted back to the default.
  • Case 2
  • Try scrolling, which will close the keyboard, but remain in edit mode (you see the Google search results, not the webpage)
  • The search engine icon remains the same.
  • If you tap the back arrow, behaviour same as Case 1. Search engine icon won’t revert until you tap the back arrow in the toolbar.

Verified as implemented on Nightly v9000 (47580) with iPhone 14 Pro Max (iOS 16.2).
