When rotating the device, text entered into the toolbar disappears.

I’m not sure if there’s already a ticket for this, but I noticed that the search text entered in the toolbar disappears after rotating the device.

Tested with toolbar refactor enabled (and unified search disabled, so doesn’t seem related to that).

I only got this to happen on iPhone 15 Pro (not iPad mini). Something to do with swapping bars…?

Demo:

• Run app on iPhone and ensure toolbar redesign is enabled
• Type some text into the toolbar in portrait mode
• Rotate to landscape mode
• Observe the toolbar is now empty
  • This is repeatable even if you start in landscape and rotate to portrait
