[Menu Redesign] The accounts list item on the menu doesn't update right after signing in #23278

Steps to reproduce

Be in a signed-out state of app.
Open the menu and sign in.
After signing in, open the menu, and you will see that it isn't signed in.
Reopen the menu, and you will see that you are signed in.

Expected behavior

Right after signing in and opening the menu you should be signed in.

The same issue reproduces if the user is already logged in and the menu is already updated with the account name, but the device was in stand by for a period of time (able to reproduce after approx 5 hours). We reproduced it on 3 out of 6 devices. Please check the video attached.

Andy says this bug doesn’t need to block our smoke test, but we should fix it for release.

Roux says this ticket describes two issues:

A “logging in” state where the user opens the menu while Application Services is signing in, but hasn’t heard from the server yet. Aarjav will investigate a design
A race condition where opening the menu is slow.

So Andy will split this ticket into two.
