Estimated effort & tasks to put Firefox for Fire TV on Android TV

Acceptance Criteria

• Estimate on the amount of engineering effort to put Firefox for Fire TV onto Android TV
• Effort is based on the following requirements:
  • System webview is used
  • Same code base is used for Firefox on Fire TV & Android TV
  • Browser works on X sites
• High level tasks determined
• Risks/dependencies called out
• General sense of the Android TV market (range of API level & devices)
• Call out any system oddities

Talked to @athomasmoz and we're going to be removing this from the sprint, since this isn't something that we'll be doing in Q4.

Very disappointing that Firefox TV still cannot run on Android TV. This should be the priority, with third-party forks like Amazon's OS coming later as time permits.

Note: We will need to give users another option to get to the menu over to support Android TV. Issue details #2977

Another thing that would have to be done for Android TV is to fix receiving tabs on it. This feature simply does not work on Android TV at the moment, probably because it relies on Amazon's and not Google's messaging service.
