Maria Berlinger Thank you for filing this issue. As far as I can tell, all of this happens inside the VPN iOS app. I’m not sure why the VPN app is showing this “please wait…” loading screen, but this sounds like something that the VPN engineering team would need to investigate to be able to determine if the reason why is related to an unexpected response from FxA.

For this reason, can you please recreate this ticket in the VPN app Jira project and link that ticket to this one? (Not sure if that’s PSP-xxxx or VPN-xxxx.)

Bianca Danforth thank you for the updates.

It seems I might be able to move this ticket to the VPN project. Would that be allright or is it better to recreate it?

Thank you.

Luminita Buruian Sorry for the late reply. Moving it works for me if that works for you and the VPN team.

Hi folks, as identified in testing the Apple IAP Migration work. Per discussions within the test plan for that work ( https://docs.google.com/document/d/1i1uBpUNxd8W0PCHi7Z413Fssu0awx__aVj6_iN-ktDM/edit ). As this is not an FxA issue and rather on the VPN Client, I’ve moved it to this org so that you can triage and prioritize. Santiago Andrigo FYI for next steps.

Sarah Bird Do we have logging to know how often this might happen?

Valentina Virlics are you able to reproduce this?

data-sync-user commented 10 months ago

➤ Bianca Hidecuti commented:

Lesley Norton, I am still able to reproduce this issue while using Mozilla VPN 2.18, on iOS 16.5, when I am not signed in with the sandbox account in Settings - Apple ID - Media and purchases (not reproducing if I am signed in).

I am attaching a video and logs as well.

I confirm this issue while using 2.20 build. I am blocked in “spinning” state after clicking “Already a subscriber“ button from IAP screen. Intermittently, a crash is happening after swipe killing the app. Attaching logs.
