MAC extension panel does not reflect the app being installed unless the browser is restarted / extension reenabled

Important details:

• the issue is resolved after restarting the browser / reenabling the extension;

• not reproducing if the VPN is installed before the MAC extension;

• on macOS/Win 10 the MAC extension panel shows the VPN being installed even after uninstalling the app;

• reproducing with 2.18 as well; 

Affected VPN versions:

• 2.19.0 (2.202311221002);

MAC extension / Firefox version:

• MAC v.8.1.3 / Firefox v 120.0;

Tested Platforms:

• Windows 10/11;

• macOS 12.6.6;

Prerequisites:

• Have Firefox browser installed and open;
• Have MAC extension installed (+link+);

Steps to reproduce:

1. Install +Mozilla VPN+; 
2. On your Firefox browser, open the Multi-Account Containers extension and observe the main panel; 

Expected result:

• No promo regarding Mozilla VPN is displayed, as the app is installed;

Actual result:

• “Get Mozilla VPN” promo banner is displayed, even though the app is installed;
