[iOS][Stage] Cannot connect to the device inspector

Important details:

• Reproducible with previous version as well;
• On some networks, reproduces on both Android and iOS;

Version/build found in:

• 2.22.0 (2.202404221627);

Reproducible on:

• iOS;
• Android

Prerequisites:

• In Firefox go to

about:config, search for network.websocket.allowInsecureFromHTTPS and set it to TRUE

• Have the Mozilla VPN app installed and opened;

• Be in signed in;

• Turn ON the VPN;

• Swipe kill and reopen the app.

Steps to reproduce:

1. In Firefox, open https://mozilla-mobile.github.io/mozilla-vpn-client/inspector/ , replace localhost with the device IP and connect.

Expected result:

• The Inspector is opened.

Actual result:

• The Inspector is not opened

After https://mozilla-hub.atlassian.net/browse/VPN-5466 was merged, the “Local network access” option in “App preferences” needs to be activated for inspector to work.

Verified today on iOS using RC 2.22 (2.202405071436) and I was able to connect to the inspector having “Local network access” option enabled. But the issue is still reproducible intermittently on some devices, so we are reopening it.

The issue is still reproducible, we are unable to connect to the inspector on both iOS (with “LAN“ option enabled) and Android.
