New users do not download places on first run & see "YMMV" dialog multiple times #474

The location & notification request dialogs pop up on first run, which cause the YMMV dialog to spawn multiple times. Due to the way we coded getting places, this blocks us from returning any places on first run too. It gets fixed if a user swipe-closes and re-opens Prox.
