Arabic String need translation for FFOS 2.2 #3

Hi @mathjazz, apparently FMD is affected with the same Arabic translation requirements as FxA (https://github.com/mozilla/fxa-content-server-l10n/issues/33) for FFOS 2.2. Let me know if late March is reasonable time frame for this translation. Thanks so much!

Hm, I was just told there won't be an Arabic launch on 2.2. That's also what the mana page says. Adding @delphine.

I confirm the scope of RTL/Arabic has changed (see https://mana.mozilla.org/wiki/display/PM/Firefox+OS+Wave+Launch+Cross+Functional+View). Arabic is targeted for 2.0M branch, as partner wanted to launch earlier than what they could with 2.2. Is the l10n work you are asking for tied to a specific version? If it is, I would understand that this is not a priority for localization teams anymore, as they need to focus on 2.0M UI work. Let me know if you have any other questions

Arabic is shipping on both 2.2 and 2.0M, actually.

Discussed this offline with Stephany. Correct, we need 2.2 stuff for 2.0M. Sparing all the details here. So nevermind, this will be needed whatever happens :)

Really sorry for any confusion. In our internal language, "shipping" and "should land on master and/or should block the release" are fairly synonymous, but there's nuance sometimes. We could, for example, land Arabic on 2.2 and have no partner "shipping" that 2.2 release. So let's just use "should land on," and in this case, Arabic should be on 2.0M, 2.2 and, later, 3.0. Ping Delphine or me anytime, truly, with any questions on this unnecessarily complicated stuff. :-)
