The google spanner library continues to not be published. We need to provide better support for self-hosters to start helping with this.

Two possible options: 1) put spanner functions behind a feature flag, self host only gets mysql for now (preferable) 2) vendor the spanner library with LOTS OF WARNINGs about beta and unsupported nature.
