A compass is an interesting idea. A variation on the compass might be an indicator directing users to visit places that have weak signals and need more measurements. :)
would be even nicer to have a map where mozstumbler marks the estimated spots of wifi aps including an estimated wifi range (based on differences in signal strengths and gps positions)
Other apps similar to the stumbler have gained some popularity/use by providing users with an indication of which direction they should move in order to get a better signal. It would provide a little bit more incentive to download and use the stumbler.
If implemented, would such a thing be accepted into the stumbler? Or is that outside of the scope?
