While reviewing an add-on, and, for example, an add-on has issues brought up by the validator that need to be addressed, sometimes it's useful to paste the validation report URL in the review and confront the developer about validator errors and warnings that need to be fixed first before approving/doing post-review.
However, the current URL points to the reviewer subdomain instead of regular AMO. removing the subdomain works, but it's a bit of a hassle if you need to do this often.
Other pages such as the add-ons listing, user profiles etc. actually redirect from the reviewer subdomain to AMO, but it doesn't happen for validator (validation) reports.
