Unable to login due to Internal Server Error after FXA account consolidation

Describe the problem and steps to reproduce it:

:wave: I started with two separate FXA accounts with different email addresses which I wanted to consolidate on the newer of the two email addresses.

To simplify explaining what's happened I'll use the following to describe the two accounts:

Email A (old)
Email B (new)

Here's the steps that lead to the issue I'm seeing:

I have deleted the AMO and FXA accounts associated with Email B this morning. Deleting the FXA account with Email B was necessary because I could not make Email B the primary address on the Email A FXA account without it.
I've added Email B to my older FXA account that was originally associated with Email A, and switched email B to be the primary email (email A is now the secondary email)

What happened?

Having made the changes above, when I try to login to AMO via FXA using email B I am sent to https://addons.mozilla.org/api/auth/authenticate-callback/?code=[redacted]&state=[redacted]&action=signin and see the following JSON:

{"detail":"Internal Server Error"}

FXA thinks I'm logged into AMO. But I do not have a valid session.

What did you expect to happen?

A successful login
