mapillary.com doesn't load if Facebook container is enabled #770

Actual behavior

This is a problem that appeared only recently, probably linked to the change in the ToS of Mapillary (which is owned by Facebook). If Facebook Container is enabled, trying to open https://www.mapillary.com/ results in a white screen, with the tab title "Mapillary cookie policy use". Disabling the extension and refreshing shows the normal page with a prompt to accept cookie policy.

If after accepting the cookie policy I re-enable Facebook container and refresh, the site works but without pictures and the map page doesn't load

Expected behavior

The site loads properly

Steps to reproduce

  1. Have the Facebook container extension enabled
  2. Open https://www.mapillary.com/
  3. White page

Notes

I think Mapillary is trying to access some Facebook cookie or something similar, but given that Facebook container blocks access to them, it can't get it and refuses to load. I attempted to add mapillary.com to the container for Facebook but it didn't work

Ok, it seems that reinstalling Facebook container solved the problem

Reinstalling didn't solve the issue for me.

Reinstalling didn't solve the issue for me.

Ok, I'll reopen then

A workaround is to use https://www.mapillary.com/app/ in Private Browsing.
