Gather feedback from Club Leaders #2

Initial suggestions from @jvallera on how she can help get user feedback:

Possible questions:

Great start @kristinashu Here some additions/possible tweaks to what you started:

During your events/meet-ups do you take walk-ins or club members only? What platforms do you use to facilitate your Club? What do you like/dislike about it? How do you communicate with Club members? Do you communicate with the rest of the Mozilla Club community? How? What challenges do you have in running your Club? What is currently working really well in your Club? Do you share reports about your Club activity? If so, how? Do you have a web presence for your Club? if not, why not? Is it important to keep your club information private (i.e. not available to the public)? Do you connect your Club learners with participants in other clubs? If so, how? If not, would you want to?

Love all of this. I'd like to also find 3-5 people we can have be part of our prototype test group. @jvallera @amirad @lucyeoh @bacharakis

When will the test group start? Let me know when you need names/contacts. My thought is to include at least one person from each of these categories (feel free to add any i missed):

  1. Club Leader from rural, lowfi/nofi area
  2. Club leader/member new to Clubs and Mozilla's issue areas.
  3. Club veteran with multiple levels of experience with Mozilla (thinking Shreyas, Edoardo or Liza here)
  4. Female Club leader with a focus on creating safe spaces for women
  5. Club leader with a focus on open innovation within a campus or university student group
  6. Former Club Leader that has moved on from Clubs and may or may not participate in Mozilla anymore (thinking Andre, Caro, Simeon or Su)

For testing our prototypes, it looks like the first things we will need feedback on are landing page copy and event wireframes flow and content (Create an Event + Confirmation #57, Event Details #58, Event Overview #60).

I believe we should be able to start this at the very end of March.

@LucyeoH @bacharakis do you have any community members who would be good to talk to about this?

a-kilroy commented 7 years ago

@jvallera @amirad @LucyeoH @bacharakis Lets get the names now. +1 to making sure we have a diversity of perspectives represented.

I'll make a ticket for all of this.

Email sent to 8 people: Hildah (Kenya), Edoardo (Italy), Vincent (Kenya), Tina (Phillipines), Juma (The Gambia), Geraldo (Brazil), Shreyas (India), Liza (Mexico)

Here is the form they will sign up on: https://docs.google.com/a/mozilla.com/forms/d/1ydqV7SCcdERO3ZaJ3GGvod8Aq3ggX1UDMMA4VzEaVFE/edit?usp=sharing

Also sent it to Matthew (USA) to help test from the campus side!

@LucyeoH That's cool but @bacharakis put me in touch with him directly and he already agreed!
